This is one of my favourites. I wanted to put a track on the album that was a teaser for how I picture my next CD to sound. No live rhythm section here just me on all synths, organ, piano and some loops. Bernie LaBarge plays rhythm guitar. I like the free form feel of this…it allows for lots of blowing and has a loose feel to it. The older I get, the less I like a strict form. I like a jazz mindset laid over a funk groove and lots of freedom. I’m looking forward to putting together a live group that consists of me on synths, my laptop with grooves and samples, and a revolving door of guests that come and sit in. Lots and lots of blowing over trance grooves.
